Driving Instructions to PPPL

The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is located about two miles north of Princeton University's main campus on U.S. Route #1 at the Forrestal Exit in Plainsboro.

Exiting Route #1 at Forrestal Campus/Sayre Drive

Traveling south: Take the Forrestal Campus/Sayre Drive Exit. At the stop sign make a left-hand turn. Go under the overpass. Just past the unmanned kiosk make a left-hand turn on to Stellarator Road and follow it for about a mile until you come to the manned entrance booth.

Traveling north: Take the Forrestal Campus/Sayre Drive Exit. Proceed through the stop sign and follow the road for about a mile until you come to the manned entrance booth.

Entrance Procedures for PPPL

As a federal facility, PPPL is operating under heightened security measures. Upon arrival, adult visitors must show a government-issued photo I.D. Non-U.S. citizens must also provide: citizenship, date of birth, and place of birth.
